Security
Change your password and configure two-factor authentication for your account
Navigate to Settings → Security to manage your personal security settings.
Changing Your Password
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter a New Password (minimum 8 characters, must include at least one uppercase letter, one digit, and one special character).
- Confirm the new password in Confirm New Password.
- Click Save.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a one-time code from an authenticator app in addition to your password.
Setting up 2FA
- Go to Settings → Security.
- In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Enable.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
- Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app to confirm setup.
- Click Save.
Disabling 2FA
- Go to Settings → Security.
- In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Disable.
- Confirm the action.
Note: An administrator can also reset 2FA for any user from the user's detail page. See Users → Two-Factor Authentication Reset.
SSO and SCIM (Administrator)
If your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SAML 2.0 / OIDC) or SCIM provisioning, refer to the backend configuration guide at backend/SSO_SCIM.md for detailed setup instructions. These features are configured at the infrastructure level by your system administrator.
