Login Events

How to read your personal login history

Acadsys records every login attempt for your account. This allows you to detect unauthorised access.

Viewing Your Login Events

  1. Go to Settings → Profile, then click the Login Events link.

The table shows your login history with the following columns:

ColumnDescription
TimestampDate and time of the login attempt
IP AddressIP address from which the login was attempted
StatusSuccess or Failure
Failure ReasonFor failed attempts: wrong password, account locked, 2FA failed, etc.

What to Look For

  • Failed attempts from unknown IPs — may indicate a brute-force or credential-stuffing attack
  • Successful logins from unexpected times — may indicate account compromise

Reporting Suspicious Activity

If you see login events you do not recognise:

  1. Change your password immediately — see Sign In → Password Reset.
  2. Enable 2FA if not already enabled — see Sign In → Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Contact your Administrator — they can view login events for all users.

Administrator View

Administrators can view login events for any user:

  1. Go to Users → [User], then click the Login Events link on the user's detail page.
