How to read your personal login history
Acadsys records every login attempt for your account. This allows you to detect unauthorised access.
Viewing Your Login Events
- Go to Settings → Profile, then click the Login Events link.
The table shows your login history with the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Timestamp | Date and time of the login attempt |
| IP Address | IP address from which the login was attempted |
| Status | Success or Failure |
| Failure Reason | For failed attempts: wrong password, account locked, 2FA failed, etc. |
What to Look For
- Failed attempts from unknown IPs — may indicate a brute-force or credential-stuffing attack
- Successful logins from unexpected times — may indicate account compromise
Reporting Suspicious Activity
If you see login events you do not recognise:
- Change your password immediately — see Sign In → Password Reset.
- Enable 2FA if not already enabled — see Sign In → Two-Factor Authentication.
- Contact your Administrator — they can view login events for all users.
Administrator View
Administrators can view login events for any user:
- Go to Users → [User], then click the Login Events link on the user's detail page.
