Sign In

How to sign in to Acadsys using local credentials, SSO, or two-factor authentication

Local Login

  1. Navigate to your Acadsys instance URL (e.g., https://app.acadsys.com).
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Sign In.

If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot password? and follow the email reset flow.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your organisation has configured SSO (SAML 2.0 / OIDC), a Sign in with SSO button appears on the login page.

  1. Click Sign in with SSO.
  2. You are redirected to your identity provider (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace).
  3. Authenticate with your corporate credentials.
  4. You are redirected back to Acadsys and signed in automatically.

Note: SSO configuration is managed by your Administrator under Settings → Security → SSO.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

When 2FA is enabled for your account:

  1. After entering your password, you are prompted for a one-time code.
  2. Open your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy) and enter the 6-digit code.
  3. Click Verify.

Setting Up 2FA

  1. Go to Profile → Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  4. Enter the confirmation code and click Activate.

Resetting 2FA

If you lose access to your authenticator app, contact your Administrator. Administrators can reset 2FA for any user under Settings → Users → [User] → Reset 2FA.

Password Reset

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email address and click Send reset link.
  3. Check your inbox for a reset email and click the link within 24 hours.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password, then click Reset Password.
